MEA submits new permit requests to the City for the proposed 80 feet tall 115 kV double circuit transmission line route before completing the Borough's public hearing process

Matanuska Electric Association (MEA) submitted permit applications to the City on Wednesday, March 26, 2013 for the same route that they initially proposed last fall. This route follows the Parks Highway through the City and then heads west along the Palmer-Wasilla Highway Extension.
