Burn Permit Information
Opening burning within Wasilla City limits is governed by the Alaska Department of Natural Resources, Division of Forestry. Click here to obtain information on opening burning and how to obtain a permit.

Fireworks
Fireworks are not allowed to be discharged with Wasilla City Limits except for annually, without a permit during a seven-hour period beginning at 6 p.m. on December 31 and ending at 1 a.m. on January 1. Please visit Wasilla Municipal Code Section 8.04.040 for more information.
