Administrative order #292 from Governor Walker, in a nutshell explores the possibility of a commuter rail linking Wasilla to Anchorage. Ever increasing traffic between the two largest Alaska communities creates undue stress on the Glenn Highway corridor as well as the daily toll personally and professionally on individuals including wear and tear in vehicles and environmental impacts.

It is incumbent upon us to explore more cost effective and environmentally friendly transportation options.
