Voter Registration Deadline 

• Sunday, September 7, 2025, is the deadline to register to vote or update your voter registration to qualify to vote at the 2025, regular election. 

How to Register or Update Voter Registration Records

• The Alaska Division of Elections maintains voter registration in Alaska.
• Register to vote or update your voter registration through OLVR, the State of Alaska's online voter registration system.   
• For assistance with voter registration, please visit the Alaska Division of Elections Office, North Fork Professional Building B, Suite 102, 1700 E Bogard Road, or the Wasilla City Clerk’s Office, 290 E Herning Avenue, Wasilla.

 Voter Qualifications 

• Consistent with WMC 4.08.010, a person may vote in a City election only if the person:
  • Is qualified to vote in state elections under AS 15.05.010
  • Has been a resident of the City for 30 calendar days immediately preceding the election;
  • Is registered to vote in state elections at a residence address within the city at least 30 calendar days before the city election at which the person seeks to vote; and
  • Is not disqualified to vote under Article V of the Alaska Constitution.
