Special Needs Voting

A qualified voter with a disability who, because of that disability, is unable to go to a polling place to vote may vote a special needs ballot. Special needs ballots are available from an early voting location or polling place on Election Day.

Special needs voters request delivery of a special needs ballot by a “representative.” The voter designates the representative.

No person who is a candidate for office at the election, an immediate family member of the candidate, the voter’s employer, an agent of the voter’s employer, or an officer or agent of the voter’s union may act as a representative for a voter.
