Community Bulletin Board

The purpose of the community bulletin board is to provide postings on a broad range of community resources designed to meet the educational, professional, intellectual, cultural and recreational needs of the area’s diverse, rapidly growing population.

Items to be posted may include: 
  • Public, Not-for-Profit Events 
  • Government Agency Announcements 
  • Cultural and Civic Programs 
  • Library Events 
  • Legal Announcements 
  • Educational Opportunities 
  • Community Services 
  • Community Events
Items which may not be posted include:
  • Announcements of Yard Sales or other Commercial Services 
  • Announcements for jobs/help wanted 
  • Personal/Private messages 
  • For-Profit Advertising 
  • Expressions of Political, Religious or Social Views

The City of Wasilla Public Library does not endorse any postings made on the community bulletin board. The information is made available for the convenience of patrons and visitors to the area.
If an item intended for the Community Bulletin Board does not fall into one of the categories listed above, it will be reviewed by the Library Director.

Material that is outdated, torn, or inappropriate will be removed from the bulletin board at the discretion of the Library Staff.
