Afternoon All-Stars Returns!
Afternoon All-Stars, our after school program for big kids ages 6-12, meets every Thursday from 3-5pm for a wide variety of activities. This program focuses on books, art, history, science, animals, games, special guest presenters, and much more. Generally we spend some focused time together on a project (science, art, games, anything goes!), then have plenty of free time for board games, chess, and other creative and social activities. Check out our schedule here.
LEGO Day
Calling all master builders! Drop in for open play with the library's collection of bricks on Tuesday, November 5, from 2pm to 4pm! All ages are welcome.
Kids Vote at Wasilla Public Library
Election Day is coming up next Tuesday, November 5. This is a great opportunity to talk with kids about being a good citizen and participating in the work of our communities and nation by voting. With that in mind, kid-sized voting booths will be set up on Election Day in the Children's Room at Wasilla Public Library with ballots for young voters. Which dinner will win: pizza or taco? Activity packs are also available to take home with crafts and activities related to elections and voting.
