Crystal Nygard, comes to the City of Wasilla as our Economic Developer. She is Principle Owner and Managing Director for Right Fit International and has over 25 years of experience strategically growing companies and increasing their bandwidth in an evolving, competitive marketplace. Crystal specializes in executive recruiting and business strategy services. She offers companies who have an ambitious growth plan, new leadership, or mergers and acquisitions focus deep expertise in the integration and recruitment of impact players.

 

Crystal has over 20 years of experience as a business owner, working with construction, environmental, finance, and automation industries across the globe. She owned one of the very few 8(a) certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) companies in Alaska that brought innovation and efficient operation prevention savings to government contracting. Her government contracting and regulatory compliance knowledge and experience have provided clients with first-hand guidance on what it takes to survive in a competitive economy.

Ms. Nygard was appointed to the Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority, Alaska Energy Authority in 2013 by Governor Sean Parnell. She is a former recipient of the Alaska’s Top 40 Under 40 award and SBA Minority Business of the Year award.

Crystal holds a bachelor’s degree in Business/Corporate Communications.
