Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the Wasilla Museum! 

Although the Museum has limited capacity for training and supervising volunteers, we are interested in working with diligent, self-motivated, and conscientious individuals who want to use and build their skill sets in a public service setting.

Volunteers will be trained to assist Museum staff in one or more of the following:

• Reception/visitor services
• Event planning and management
• Tours and activities
• Cleaning and organization
• Research reports
• Exhibit installation/de-installation
• Collections care
• Special projects

If you would like to volunteer at the Museum, we invite you to send an email to museum@cityofwasilla.gov with information about your skills, your goals, and your availability. We will respond to let you know whether these may be suited to our volunteer program at this time.
