The Bumpus Recreation Area offers baseball, softball and soccer fields to the community.  These fields are operated and maintained by the American Legion, Mat-Su Softball Association and Wasilla Youth Soccer Association.  Fields may be used by the public when not in use by these associations. The area also offers the trailhead to the Maureen McCombs Equestrian Trail.
