Park and Facility Rules
The following rules apply to all City of Wasilla parks and facilities:

No person may cut, damage, or pick flowers, trees or other vegetation.

No person may camp without a city issued permit.

No person may have an open fire or camp stove unless in a designated area.

No person may sell, possess, or consume any alcoholic beverage without a city issued permit.

No person shall use a bow and arrow without a city issued permit.

No person may discharge fireworks without a city issued permit.

No person may use a motorized vehicle unless in a designated area or without a city issued permit.

Animals must be on a leash or under restraint and feces removed.
- No person may deposit litter, waste, or wastewater on the ground or in the water.
- No person may swim or dive unless in a designated area. Swim at your own risk; no life guards are present.
- No person may sell goods or services without a city issued vendor permit.

No person may smoke inside buildings.

Parks hours are from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. unless posted otherwise or extended by a city issued permit.
Park Use Permits. Park Group-Use Permits are used to designate a time and place for small events at one of the parks, pavilions or fields. Click here for more information.
Special Event Use Permits. Permits for vendors, special uses, use of motor vehicles, firearms, fireworks, animals, and alcohol dispensing may be issued and will address litter, sanitary facilities, damage, crowd control, traffic control, noise, hours of use, insurance and public notice.
