We need you!

The City of Wasilla needs volunteers for various City functions and projects.  What are your interests?  Are you particularly passionate about something and would like to turn that passion into an opportunity to better your community?  Do you like working in groups with other people who enjoy volunteering?

For example,  the City hosts a community picnic after the 4th of July Parade each year.  We may need help with set-up, clean-up, organizing events, serving food, and various other tasks associated with the picnic. Perhaps this sounds like an event you may be interested in?  This is just one example where your help would be greatly appreciated; there are many more events and activities where your help is needed.
