The City of Wasilla is pleased to present the Draft Hazard Mitigation Plan Update for review and comment.  The plan is being submitted to the planning commission next week and scheduled to be reviewed and adopted by the City Council on 7/24.  Comments should be sent to our contractor (laura.young@fairweather.com) and received by 7/20 to enable the team to respond and incorporate any changes.  You can also access the project survey at the link here City of Wasilla 2023 Hazard Mitigation Plan Update Survey (surveymonkey.com) to provide thoughts on hazards, preparedness, and mitigation projects.
