Grave Lots. There are no lots available for purchase at the Wasilla Aurora Cemetery. From time-to-time cemetery lots are donated or sold back to the City.  Contact the Office of the City Clerk to be placed on the waiting list.  The cost of a lot is $1,000, and does not include opening or closing. Currently, there are no plans for expansion.  

Interment. If you already have lots reserved at the cemetery, please update your record by completing a Wasilla Aurora Cemetery Purchase Agreement at your earliest convenience.  

At the time you wish to plan a burial, please fill out an application for interment, provide a burial transit permit, and contact the Office of the City Clerk at least 2-business days in advance.

Plot Marker. If a marker is not placed on the grave plot, the City will install a small flat lot marker. Markers are ordered by the City. The inscription on the marker will include the name on record, date of birth, and date of death.

If a family wishes to place their own marker on a grave plot, please contact the Office of the City Clerk.
